I’m honoured to serve as an Imam and Religious Advisor at Green Lane Masjid. I studied at the Islamic University of Madinah in the faculty of Shari’ah and had the privilege of studying under some of the most respected scholars in Madinah. As a speaker, teacher, and passionate advocate for Da’wah, I’m here to guide you through every step of your Hajj journey. My goal is to make sure your experience is spiritually enriching, authentic, and truly unforgettable, both before, during, and after the pilgrimage.
I’ve had the privilege of serving Green Lane Masjid since 2014, and currently, I serve as a Da’wah Project Manager while also delivering Khutbahs at various masajid. My role during your Hajj will be to help with the planning and logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly. I’ll be here to make your experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible. As an Arabic speaker, I’m also here to assist with any language needs you may have during the journey.
I’m honoured to work as the Media & Dawah Project Manager at Green Lane Masjid. I currently serve as a Khateeb and teacher of Qur’an & Islamic Studies at university campuses. During your Hajj journey, I’ll be focused on making sure your experience is smooth and well-organised. Whether it’s addressing your concerns or making sure everything runs as planned, I’m here to ensure you have an enriching and comfortable experience.
I started volunteering with GLM at 15 and have spent the last 4 years working with the Masjid’s operations team. After my first Hajj as a guide, I was promoted to Hajj leader, leading over 500 pilgrims. I’m also actively involved in the Masjid’s Da’wah team, where I help share knowledge and provide support to our community.
Sakien Taj
I have had the honour of serving as a Hajj guide for over 25 years. Throughout this time, I’ve supported thousands of pilgrims on their journey to the House of Allah, and it remains one of the most rewarding parts of my life. As part of Hajj with GLM, my role is to ensure your comfort, care, and overall experience are the best they can be. From the moment we set off to the final rites of Hajj, I’ll be there to guide, support, and assist you in whatever you need – so you can focus on your worship with ease and peace of mind.
